This website is operated by DevHills Software (“DevHills”, “we”, “us”), Bulevar Svetog Cara Konstantina 80, 18000 Niš, Republic of Serbia. We are the controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What we collect and why

Enquiry & application form

When you use our contact form, we process the information you choose to provide:

• Name and, optionally, your company.
• Your email address.
• The topic and message you send us.
• Any attachment you upload (for example, a brief or a CV).

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or — where you are applying for a role — to assess your application.

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6): performance of / steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and evaluating applications (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Email and other direct contact

If you email us directly, we process the content and metadata of that correspondence to reply to you.

Hosting & server logs

Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider on our behalf. Like most hosts, it may process standard technical log data (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) to serve the site securely. This is based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe, reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Cookies, analytics & tracking

This website currently sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy and — where required — ask for your consent before any non-essential technology is used.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. Submissions from our forms (including any attachment) are handled by our own script on our hosting and delivered to us by email — they are not sent to a third-party form processor. We rely only on the service providers needed to operate the site:

• a third-party hosting and email provider, which processes data on our behalf as a processor.

5. International transfers

We are based in Serbia, which is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), and our providers may process data outside the EEA. Where we handle the personal data of individuals in the EEA, we do so in line with this policy and rely on appropriate safeguards. 6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Job-application data is kept for 6 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to keep it on file or we agree otherwise.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to our processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw any consent you've given, at any time.

To exercise any of these, email hello@devhills.software. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
